Jared Ritvo

I was born and raised in Denver, CO. I discovered my passion for the practice of family law while in law school when I worked on clients’ cases as a student-attorney in the CU Law School Family Law Clinic. The experience inspired me to continue to study family law and complete CU Law School’s Juvenile and Family Law Certificate program. Upon graduating from law school, I further built my knowledge of family law, as well as my legal research and writing skills, by working as a family law judicial law clerk for several district court judges in Adams County, Colorado.

In January 2019 I opened Ritvo Law LLC. I appreciate that no two days are the same in family law practice, and the intellectual challenge of it. I have assisted clients with issues involving family law's intersections with both criminal law and immigration law; regarding issues related to enforcement of and challenging pre-marital and marital agreements at divorce; difficult child custody issues across state lines and involving abuse; and complex property valuations in divorce.

I appreciate the opportunity practicing family law provides to help clients through what can be a difficult and challenging time. I am committed to listening to my clients’ individual needs and proposing tailored solutions. I strive to assist clients to remove mystery from family law proceedings because I believe the unknown can be one of the most stressful aspects of a family law case.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family including with my toddler niece and nephew, traveling, running, fly-fishing, reading for pleasure, and skiing.
